desu! time..:)

Last Saturday, my LC’s classmate and I went to Tropicana City to interview a band that was performing on one of anime event being held there. We went there at 4.30 p.m. After we arrived, teacher AD introduced Najwa and myself to the band who also happened to be teacher Ad’s friends. We went outside of the mall for the interview session because the mall there was so noisy with other bands performing. Before we went to Tropicana City, teacher Ad has informed us that we need to prepare some questions for the interview. Here is the script for the interview last Saturday:
1)      A: What is the name of this group?
B: The name of this group is desu! They are all small letters. desu! are from Japanese words and the meaning of this name is Is.

2)      A: Why did you choose a Japanese name?
B: Because all the songs are influence by Japanese music.

3)      A: Are you a local or foreign band?
B: Yes we are local. Most of us are from Shah Alam and some of them from KL.

4)      A: What kind of music do you play?
B: Basically we play Punk Rock, influence Japanese Punk Rock. Our Punk is something that we call Cute. Because we are cute boys and the melody is very stylises but Punk.

5)      A: What is the name for the first song?
B: Our first single that will be Gacha-Love

6)      A: Do you think that our music industry is big?
B: Yes, it is big. But it is different with the type of music what they are doing, something like that.

7)      A: Do you really play that kind of music?
B: Yes, we do. We really love. All of us really love that music. We are the minority in Malaysia.
When I finished interviewed with them, it was Najwa’s turn has also do the same with her questions and we took some pictures before re-entering the mall. While waiting for desu! to perform, I saw a lot of visitors wearing weird dresses like a character from cartoons on the television that I am not very familiar. I want to take pictures with them but couldn’t since my hand phone memory was full. Besides the performance from the bands, there are also some booth selling items from the cartoon. I also was surprised to meet my cousin there and we talked for a few minutes before she left.  When the time for desu! to perform, we gave full attention to their performance. Their songs are the best even though I never heard that kind of song before. I enjoyed listening to their performance. Everybody who was there also enjoyed and was happy with their energetic performance. On the way back, it was raining but luckily there was no traffic jam until we arrived at Taman Bahagia LRT stesen.
